As the Director and a member of Alcoholic Anonymous, I am writing to ask if you would assist the Arkansas Central Office in recruiting volunteers for our office?

You no doubt understand the enormous amount of service work our office does. We man the 24/7 Alcoholic Anonymous Hotline; conduct four (4) “Free and For Fun” events to bring the community together; host group meetings in our board room; and keep open our AA store for pamphlets, books, and other items to help people remain sober. We want to keep our store open and available to anyone needing help, this is where you can help. We need volunteers to donate a few hours to this worthy cause.

At this time, we are hoping you might know someone who could volunteer. We specifically need people to work in the book store. The bookstore has two shifts- 10am to 2pm and 2pm to 6pm. We now have a point of sale system (pos) which uses an iPad; therefore, we are seeking people who are familiar with computers or iPad or are willing to learn.
